Tuesday, August 2, 6 pm

Join us this Tuesday, August 2 at 6 pm for an Art Talk with visiting printmaker Nancy Diessner.

A regular instructor at Zea Mays Printmaking Studio, Nancy Diessner also runs a public printmaking studio, Dog’s Eye Print Studio, in Framingham, MA. During her 17-year college teaching career, she created two “green” college printmaking studios.

Diessner’s artwork emerges from her background in painting, printmaking, drawing, photography, and digital image manipulation. Diessner incorporates all of these media in her photopolymer intaglio prints. Her work explores the mysterious and complex connection between humans and animals, at the same time expressing our human longing for and isolation from the “other.”

Diessner will be teaching two workshops at A6 in early August, Simple Colorful Litho and Funky Photopolymer.
